Hunting PLC as previously mentioned in assessment 1 provides a large range of downhole tools, products, and consumables. Too many to name in one assignment. I have chosen 3 products to cover in this assignment. The first product is the H-3 Perforating gun, this product is a long cylinder with pre-loaded explosive charges in it. The cylinder is placed down a pre-existing pipe, the charges are set off and perforates the existing pipe, the perforations are used to make new connections to the pipeline. The second product is the Highly Integrated GR Detectors. These detectors log data obtained from nuclear logging tools to provide some of the fundamental information required to characterize and assess a reservoirs performance. These include formation identification and correlation, porosity measurements, gas detection, fluid contact migration, and clay typing. GR detectors also play an important role in Geosteering directionally drilled well; the guidance of continuous mining equipment; Military, Security, and other Industrial applications. The third product is a Ballistic Release Tool. The ballistic release tool reliably disconnects the down-hole assembly from the electric wireline in the event that the assembly becomes stuck in the wellbore. This allows for the retrieval of electric wireline.
